Suspicions of kidnapping/ Contact with Inez Hajrulla lost, police verify suspicions about his disappearance

Vlora, October 10, 2026 – The Vlora Police have launched verifications after losing contact with Inez Hajrulla, known as “Ini i Çones”, who was declared wanted by the authorities. The circumstances of the case remain unclear, while so far there is no official confirmation that he has been kidnapped.

According to reported information, the police have contacted his father, Robert Hajrulla, who stated that he has not communicated with his son for the past two days. He explained that, because Inez is on international wanted list, they do not necessarily communicate every day. According to him, he believes that his son may be abroad.

Suspicions about Hajrulla’s fate arose after his close friends lost contact with him. According to their testimonies, he was in Tirana and was allegedly taken by people wearing vests resembling those of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH).

Friends claim that after trying to find out which police station he had been taken to, they were informed that he had not been arrested. This development has increased concerns and suspicions about the possible involvement of other people, but these claims have not yet been officially confirmed.

At the moment, it is not clear whether this is a possible hostage-taking by rival groups or other circumstances related to the loss of contact. Police are verifying information to clarify what happened.

Inez Hajrulla is wanted by SPAK on suspicion of involvement in murder and a structured criminal group. According to published information, he took over the leadership of the group after the murder of Edison Harizaj, also known as Edison Faqeddjeguri, in 2018.

Hajrulla has also been reported as being involved in conflicts with other criminal groups in Vlora. However, the connection of these conflicts to the loss of contact with him has not been confirmed by authorities.
