“You have a little egg”, Zhaklin Lekatari and Blendi Salaj insult Sara Mila

The debate between Socialist Party MP Sara Mila and activist doctor Ermal Pashaj on the show “Off The Record” with Andrea Dangli on A2 CNN was accompanied by comments on social networks, including from activist Zhaklin Lekatari and journalist Blendi Salaj.

During the discussion, Mila raised the question of whether the protesters are also throwing eggs at Democratic Party MPs, or whether the attack is coordinated specifically against her, stating that she herself has faced such actions.

Pashaj responded positively, and then requested that the discussion focus on the arguments and criteria for reforms if they are reaching the citizens.

In the reactions section, Zhaklin Lekatari warned the socialist MP that she should be shot with something else: “The egg is a little.”

On the other hand, Blendi Salaj, meanwhile, brought to attention Albania’s demographic contraction.

Referring to the last two INSTAT censuses, he wrote that between 2011 and 2023 the population decreased by about 420 thousand inhabitants, or 15%.

“According to the last two Instat Censuses, between 2011 and 2023 the population of Albania decreased by 420,000 inhabitants. A decrease of 15%,” Salaj wrote.

Following his reaction, the journalist claimed that, at this rate, institutions like the World Bank predict that Albania’s population will fall below one million inhabitants by 2050.

In the comment presented, he does not provide a reference to this prediction.

The two reactions were published immediately after the debate where Lekatari commented on the issue of egging, while Salaj drew attention to the extent of the population decline.
