Through an Instagram post, Curri shared the message of a person claiming to work in the public administration in Saranda.
According to him, the employees have been ordered to appear at an event in Vlora, where Prime Minister Rama will participate and speak.
“Hello Olti, how are you? They are forcing us to leave tomorrow at 6 o’clock in Vlora because Rama is going to call. I work in the administration in Saranda. Strict orders, I was leaving Saranda at 3 o’clock. The buses started the lists by force. Please post a little because I have no business with these. Go out and wait for the long time because we have orders,” the message published by Curri reads.
According to the complainant, participation is not voluntary, but organized through lists drawn up by managers and mandatory for administration employees.
This is not the first time such accusations have been made. Just a few days ago, another complaint reached the Boldnews editorial office, according to which local structures were asked to compile lists with the names, surnames and phone numbers of people who would participate in the Prime Minister’s meeting in Vlora.
The message provided by Boldnews stated that participants would then be contacted by headquarters for confirmation, while requiring that the lists include not only employees of institutions, but also people outside them, in order to ensure the highest possible participation.
The denunciations have raised questions about the way political activities are organized and the use of public administration to guarantee mass participation.
