A 48-year-old Albanian convicted of drug trafficking has managed to escape from the high-security Koridhalos prison in Greece.

Edmond Tafa took advantage of the moment when the gate opened at the moment the prison waste was being taken out and managed to run away, reports Top Channel correspondent Artur Bibe.

Numerous police forces have been pursuing him but have not yet managed to catch him.

It is suspected that the Albanian fled through the alleys, and it is not yet known whether it was an organized plan or a spontaneous escape.
