So far, over 94% of the votes have been counted in today’s parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
According to official information from the Central Election Commission, the Vetëvendosje Movement leads with 43.44%, followed by PDK with 21.36%, LDK with 17.87%, AAK with 7.18% and Lista SRPSKA with 5.29% of the votes. According to the results, Albin Kurti’s Vetëvendosje Movement has a decrease, compared to the previous elections, which is estimated at around 6%.
Meanwhile, the party with the greatest growth, compared to the previous elections, is the LDK led by Lumir Abdixhiku, whose list also included former President Vjosa Osmani during these elections.
The organization ‘Democracy in Action’ has made a calculation of the distribution of seats in Parliament, according to the percentage obtained by political parties.
With this calculation, Albin Kurti’s LVV receives 48 MPs in Parliament, or 9 fewer than in the previous elections.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo gets 24 seats, the Democratic League of Kosovo gets 20 seats, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo gets 8 seats.
