Donald Trump had a heated exchange with journalist Kristen Welker during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
He called the presenter “either stupid or corrupt” after she asked him for evidence of his claims that the California primary was rigged.
Trump opposed the vote counting process that takes several days, saying it is done to “steal the election.”
Welker reminded him that this is standard procedure in California, but the former president continued to accuse the media of corruption, including ABC, CBS and CNN.
At the end, Trump seemed irritated, pulled out the microphone and said he wanted to end the interview: “Let’s leave it here because I’m bored. Thanks, honey. Have fun.”
