Finding the body of Eglant Koç, the 34-year-old who disappeared on July 4, is considered one of the top priority issues for the Tirana Police.
During the presentation of police work for the month of May, Tirana’s police chief, Oliger Torba, said that searches are focused on the outskirts of Tirana and that forces from Kosovo have also been engaged for this purpose.
New details regarding Eglant’s disappearance have been revealed thanks to the truck driver, who told police that after he handed over the vehicle in the Iba area, he had no information about what happened to the car or what was inside it.
Meanwhile, during the searches carried out inside the office where Eglant Koçi was allegedly held, traces of gunpowder residue were found.
Laboratory results are expected to emerge, revealing more details about the serious incident.
It is also reported that the search for Eglant Koç’s body has been extended in two main directions, in the areas around Tirana, Elbasan and Librazhd.
It is learned that the 41-year-old has changed at least six phone numbers in recent days, in an attempt to avoid being located./voxnews.al
