The Socialist Party MP in the Shkodra District, Marjana Koçeku, announced this afternoon that she will no longer be part of the socialist parliamentary group and will continue her mandate as an independent MP.
According to information, a leadership meeting will be held at the Socialist Party tomorrow at 09:30, followed by a parliamentary group meeting at 10:00.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Koçeku was not present at the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, held in “Italia” Square in Tirana.
In her public reaction, she emphasized that her ideals and values remain the same as before her engagement in politics, underlining that they define her political boundaries.
“From today on, I am an independent MP. My ideals and values are those that I have had and expressed since before I was associated with a party. They define my boundaries,” Koçek wrote.
