Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show “The Unexposed” on MCN TV, spoke about the latest SPAK investigation, which focuses on drug traffickers who laundered money in construction and resorts.
Lala spoke about the mention of Samir Mane’s name in the investigative file, as the suspected traffickers wanted to build in Green Coast and according to messages, they sent the builder Ilir Shtufi to speak with Samir Mane and offer him three million euros.
Conversation:
Ylli Rakipi: What is mentioned with Samir Mane, since the crowd is demanding revolution and blood, should this one be taken?
Klodiana Lala: Alfredo Hamzaj is suspected of being the head of one of the criminal groups that traffics drugs from South America to EU countries. The second group is Artur Koçeku. They talk to each other, they have bought property, they say we have that land, but we need Zamir’s consent, because you can’t build in an area where the Green Coast is.
They claim that they will send Shtufi to talk to Mane and offer 3 million euros for the permit. We need to clarify something, Mr. Mane does not communicate directly with them. But we do not know, were these villas built? How much did they cost? How did the money come in? So these people are talking about him. He is a businessman who is mentioned in the investigative file.
Presumed innocent until the investigation proves otherwise. These 30 villas were built? What about the hotel? Who applied for the permit? Does this permit coincide with the time that the encrypted application is being discussed between people suspected of drug trafficking? The file has proven to us that there is cooperation between traffickers and Albanian business. This shows it clearly and openly.
