Democratic Party MP Flamur Noka has published a video on social media, which, according to him, shows an unidentified blonde girl entering the premises of Peqin Prison.
In his reaction, Noka accuses the government of the way it administers the penitentiary system, claiming that prison institutions are riddled with corruption and that the responsible leaders do not hold themselves accountable for the problems identified.
According to the Democratic MP, the girl seen in the video walking behind a police officer is suspected of having entered the prison to meet with an inmate.
Noka alludes that this is a visit held within the framework of the so-called “special meetings”, special environments where convicted persons can receive their spouses or close family members under special conditions, according to the rules provided by the penitentiary system.
So far, there has been no official reaction from the authorities regarding the authenticity of the footage or the claims raised by the opposition MP.
