The Council of Ministers, at today’s meeting, approved the receipt of a loan of 302 million dollars from the United States within the framework of the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program.

According to the decision published on the official website, the funding aims to support projects and investments in the field of defense, in line with the strategic cooperation between Albania and the United States.

The $302 million loan will be used to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities through the supply of military equipment and systems manufactured in the US.

This agreement is considered an important step in strengthening our country’s defense capacities and in deepening cooperation in the field of security between Albania and the US.

The Rama government has decided to terminate the functioning of the Transparency Board, established to monitor hydrocarbon prices within the framework of the relevant law.

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, has announced that after a period of several months, the fuel market has shown significant stabilization, reducing the need for administrative intervention.

“Today we decided to terminate the Transparency Board, which has been in operation for several months now in implementation of the hydrocarbons law. There have been several months of fluctuations in fuel prices and for more than two weeks the price has been decreasing, stock market prices have stabilized, the Hormuz Canal will be unblocked, the hydrocarbons market has stabilized and we decided to terminate the functioning of the Transparency Board,” Ibrahimaj declared.
