A serious accident was recorded on the Durrës-Tirana road, where a vehicle crashed into a pole and then burst into flames.
Three other vehicles were also reported to have been involved in an accident at the scene.
Police, ambulances and emergency services immediately arrived at the scene, while the situation caused panic and traffic in the area.
It is not yet known whether there were people inside the vehicle engulfed in flames, while official data on the full extent of the accident is awaited.
