“They are a great shame, remove them”, Mehdi Malkaj: Political parties are organized groups that steal from their own people!

Renowned Albanian actor, Mehdi Malkaj, addressed the protesters gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office with a critical message towards the political class and citizens’ connection to parties.

During his speech, Malkaj called on citizens not to blindly identify with political forces, but to act as free and independent citizens.

Malkaj called on protesters to break away from party influences and unite as free citizens.

“We Albanians have a very bad ear, we fall in love with parties. Get rid of parties! It’s a great shame! When a great philosopher was asked about parties, he said that they are organized groups of thieves who steal from their own people!” declared the well-known actor amid applause from citizens.

A protester said that today the people have decided to dismiss and arrest Prime Minister Rama for national treason.

“From today, the people sign, the people decide! From today, the people decide the dismissal of Edi Rama and his arrest for national treason!” said the protester.

A protester declared that citizens are tired of injustice and that no one can sell Albania. She further added that only citizens are the ones who will remove Rama.
