One of the initiators of the civic protest, Arben Kola, has made strong statements before the start of the protest, revealing the presence of infiltrated groups that, according to him, are attempting to damage the movement and give it a religious or national background.
Kola warned that these people will soon be made public, while calling on security forces to intervene before the situation is left in the hands of the protesters themselves.
“There are infiltrated groups among us who lift the veil and join us. In the coming days we will expose them with faces and names. We know the Greek groups that operate here against Albania, we also know the Serbian groups. We also know the religious lines from Turkey that want to give a religious narrative to the protest. They will not be able to undo it. This is the will of the Albanians,” declared Kola.
Kola strongly distanced himself from the incident that occurred the day before with the Israeli flag, clarifying that the civic movement has no aggressive intent towards other countries or their national symbols.
“We are not against any country, we are not for violating the flags of Israel, Serbia, Greece, Iran, etc. We definitely distance ourselves and will also issue a statement,” he concluded.
