A serious incident was recorded this afternoon in the city of Pogradec, where a 30-year-old man stabbed his 29-year-old wife.
The incident occurred in neighborhood no. 4 of the city, and according to preliminary information, the young man caused two knife wounds to his wife, in the abdomen and arm.
Immediately after the incident, the perpetrator was escorted by the police, while the young woman was transported to the Pogradec hospital, where she is receiving first aid. She is then expected to be sent to Tirana for more specialized treatment.
Sources indicate that the couple lived in Greece and had come to Pogradec for a vacation with their family.
Meanwhile, the police and the investigation team are working to fully clarify the circumstances of this event.
