In the face of massive dissatisfaction expressed by citizens who say their voices have not been heard, Prime Minister Rama is trying to strengthen the connection between citizens and institutions.
On Saturday, at the extended meeting of the parliamentary group, where members of the government were also present, the decision was made that each ministry will have a “deputy political minister” who will be the main link to receive concerns or complaints from the community that will be addressed through MPs.
This is seen as an efficient solution to increase cooperation between ministers and MPs on community issues and to address the problems of citizens, who openly articulate strong dissatisfaction with the Rama government.
