The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has reacted for the first time regarding the protests taking place in Tirana, emphasizing that the right of citizens to express themselves and participate in public life is a value protected by the Constitution.
During the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Tirana Prefecture, Begaj stated that the current developments in the capital come at a time when citizens are publicly expressing their concerns and expectations in a peaceful manner.
