In the same trial, the court sentenced Ndriçim Tafxhafa and Blerim Xhamani to 1 year in prison each, while Isuf Tosku received a sentence of 1 year and 4 months in prison, which was converted to probation.

According to SPAK, Memolla, while running for mayor in the March 6, 2022 elections, had influenced a debtor subscriber’s electricity supply not to be cut off, in order to secure votes in his favor.

The prosecution also alleged that Ndriçim Tafxhafa had promised a citizen the repayment of obligations to OSHEE and housing in exchange for voting for Memolla.

Meanwhile, according to the investigative file, Blerim Xhamani and Isuf Tosku falsified the minutes of the electricity outage, presenting false data.

Currently, the Municipality of Rrogozhina is led by a commissioned mayor.
