Bleona Mata’s mother, Bukurie Mata, has reacted to a new clue related to the fate of her daughter who disappeared 16 years ago.
Speaking on the show “Në Kohë Reale”, Bukurie Mata said that there are new indications that could place Bleona in England, while a photo of a girl with a complete resemblance to Bleona is currently being verified in a European country.
“I first saw the English track when there was that fraudster from Macedonia, Mehmet Xheladinovski, who demanded a staggering amount of money… He served two years in prison for fraud,” she said, recalling that she immediately reported to the secret services after an attempted fraud of 25,000 euros.
Mata mentioned numerous tracks over the years in Macedonia, Germany, Italy and especially in Greece (Athens and Larisa), but stressed that the main problem remains the lack of a concrete point of action from the institutions.
Asked about the track that has given her the most confidence, Bleona’s mother focused on new information received six months ago.
“She was seen with the burn mark, with her face, with the appearance of 100% Bleona. She was seen for three years in a row leaving that house, going to school… The school has admitted that we had this child until high school,” said Bukurie Mata.
According to her, the photo is original, verified by an Albanian woman who lived in asylum in that country and had a neighbor.

I thank the lawyer because I know him, I have followed him, I have seen him several times who has talked about Bleona’s case and I thank him because it means that they have raised their voice for Bleona. Why don’t the institutions act with kindness, quickly because it’s about a child and we don’t know if Bleona has continued her life or created her own family. Because Bleona is a very talented child. In Bleona’s case, which was the track you trusted the most? So which was the track that gave you more confidence than the real track?
Initially, it was Macedonia because the road connected it, meaning on Mount Pikëlmë, there was the road between Kosovo and Macedonia that people carried wood with horses, with a road for cars, everything and in all the spaces that were in the village of Zapot, the road that connected Macedonia, Kosovo, Dragash and that day was the inauguration of the May 22 tunnel. There have been different ways. We had England, we had Italy, we especially had Greece without interruption.
Where does the Greek trail stop? At what point, where does the Greek trail end, that the connection of a story narrated by Bleona is no longer found?

However, you saw this picture. How old is the picture of this girl that you saw at the age of 16?

Are you afraid that with this modern AI technology, information about Bleona could be abused, by transforming her face, putting her in a character, putting her in a situation, and they could also abuse your emotional part?
She, Flori, has been seen for three years in a row without interruption. That child has been seen. It’s not like it’s a modification or anything. She’s been seen for three years in a row leaving that house, going to school, going to the social center. It means after three years the schools have been verified and the school has accepted that we had this child until high school. Then many, many 28 other faculties have to be verified as I have them under observation for months for photos. It means it makes me believe and it makes my heart ache that she is, because the sign is 100% and it’s not that photo, how to say modified, it’s original because it was verified by a lady from Albania who lived in the asylum for three years, she saw it and had it as a neighbor non-stop. Then she posted an accident and I gave all this information to the detective and I’m waiting for a response.

The detective, the police there, the police director, everyone, everyone, everyone has been mobilized and I have a letter from that state about how far the searches have reached and how much is being sought. I have a photo with a video of everything, but I have given my word that they will not make any fuss at the moment, because our state has been very late in searching for Bleona. Because from the beginning I said: Qamile Mata, together with the author Beksim Iza, knows where she sent the girl. And I asked him to have a meeting because he was the general director of Serious Crimes, Tonin Vocaj, and they know the whole story of Bleona with wiretapping and all the details. And why should we wait, brother Flori, 16 years when the state knows where the girl is? Why does it leave a mother waiting or a child to suffer? She does not have the love of a parent. What did you think when you saw that photo?
How can I say, I was shocked, I was surprised because how is it possible that a country not so distant as we say, that the state does not give up on the search for Bleona. And when I saw her with that resemblance, with that mark on her face, with that sweetness that Bleona had… I was left speechless and stunned as they say, I was left as if in plaster, because all Albanians have seen Bleona and no one has taken charge when the police were called, whether for the England track that we saw her, the 70-year-old gentleman called the Lezha police, called Tirana, called Kukes, asked for my number and no one has responded properly to a child or to a mother who has been searching for this child for two decades and is not finding justice from the competent authorities. And they themselves are letting us then become criminals, to have our hands in blood because there is a very long delay. 16 years, Flori, is no joke for the Albanian state when five girls took the girl and did not return her.
