“Ulcers are round, malformed, and often pus-filled sores that appear on the inner lining of the stomach. They result from damage to the protective layer,

The main symptoms of stomach ulcers are:

* Stomach pain, especially from 11:00–13:00 or at night
* Feeling of immediate satiety, lack of appetite (anorexia)
* Heartburn and burning sensation in the pharynx, frequent hoarseness
* Burning in the chest
* Weight loss
* Vomiting blood
* Black stools like coal or asphalt, bound but thin feces
* Strong reactions to spicy foods, pickles, garlic, etc.
“The main causes of stomach ulcers are stress and anxiety, which affect the increase in acidity. Unhealthy food, especially spicy and sour foods, also alcohol and tobacco irritate the stomach mucosa, the use of medications such as aspirin and blood thinners, as well as the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection”, emphasizes Ylli Merja.

In case of black, foul-smelling stools, when the feces are thin and sticky, if there is dark red vomit – you should go to the doctor urgently, as these are signs of internal bleeding and require immediate medical intervention.

Merja emphasizes that it is very important to catch stomach problems early, he suggests some cures and foods that can help soothe the stomach and speed up the healing of the mucosa.

Daily recommendations:

* In the morning, sober: 200 ml of warm water + 1 tablespoon of honey + 1 teaspoon of olive oil or basani oil
* After this: Warm wine with wild apples 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon of basani oil
* 20 minutes later: 1 glass of Gastromer tea
* In the morning add 1 walnut glyco + 1 tablespoon of tahini
* At lunch: 200 ml of Gastromer tea
* At dinner: 1 tablespoon of balsamic extract + 1 glass of Gastromer tea with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera
Foods that protect the stomach are: bananas with milk, smoothies, soft yogurt; rice soup, pasta, quinoa; boiled vegetables such as broccoli, pumpkin, carrots, cabbage; white chicken meat as well as herbal teas: black mullein, bishtamithi, basani flowers, licorice, yeast grass, plants that reduce acidity and help regenerate the mucous membrane.

“Avoid smoking and caffeinated beverages, alcohol and carbonated drinks, very cold or very hot foods, sour, spicy foods, garlic, leeks and onions,” advises Merja.

Stomach ulcers are a serious disease, but treatable if diagnosed in time and proper attention is paid to lifestyle. As Ylli Merja emphasizes, nature offers numerous opportunities to support the body, it is enough to regularly follow simple but powerful treatments.
