11 kg of coc**ne in the truck cabin/ Two Albanians arrested in anti-d*g operation in Italy

An anti-drug operation conducted in Italy has led to the seizure of a large quantity of cocaine, which was allegedly being transported by truck to be distributed on the Italian market.

According to the Guardia di Finanza, during the search of the vehicle, over 111 kilograms of cocaine were found, divided into 100 packages, as well as around 19 thousand euros in cash.

Three people have been arrested, including two Albanian citizens and a Romanian, suspected of being drivers and couriers of the drug shipment.

The narcotics were hidden in the truck’s cabin, professionally packaged and with an identifying “elephant” logo.

Italian authorities estimate that, after processing and distribution on the market, this amount of cocaine could bring in profits of up to 20 million euros.

Investigations continue to uncover the origin of the shipment and other individuals who may be involved in the drug trafficking network.
