A conflict between two people in Shkodra has ended with the injury of a 32-year-old man and the arrest of a 41-year-old man who allegedly attempted to retaliate with a weapon.
According to the police, 18-year-old Arvin Fregjaj attacked 32-year-old Vildan Kepëca with a cutting tool in the premises of the Shkodra Polyclinic and then left the scene.
The injured man was immediately transported to the Shkodra Regional Hospital, where his life is out of danger.
The police report that while heading to the scene, they received information that the injured man’s brother, Arben Kepëca, after learning about the incident, had taken a firearm and was suspected of searching for the perpetrator to kill him.
Officers intervened and arrested the 41-year-old, who, according to police, attempted to flee and threw away the firearm he was carrying.
Meanwhile, investigations continue to capture the perpetrator of the injury and fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict.
