The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) has ordered the confiscation of 21 assets in favor of the state, partially accepting the request of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) within the framework of the anti-mafia law.
The decision was given this Wednesday by Judge Irena Gjoka, after reviewing SPAK’s request for the confiscation of the assets of Eridan Munoz Guerrero, Deljana Nebiu, Sokol Çamer, Julian Veliu, Lenkos Nebiu and several third parties.
According to the GJKKO decision, a number of immovable and movable assets pass in favor of the state, including apartments, service units, houses with land, vehicles, trailers and bank accounts.
The list of confiscated assets includes:
several apartments owned by Deljana Nebiu, purchased in Vlora and other cities;
service units and other assets registered in the names of Deljana Nebiu and Eridan Nebiu;
three apartments with land owned by Eridan Nebiu, Sokol Çameri and Julian Veliu;
apartments, garage and warehouse acquired by Sokol Çamer;
an Audi A8 type vehicle;
a trailer imported from Italy;
several bank accounts with thousands of euros and millions of lek, previously seized within the framework of letters of request from Belgian authorities.
The court also decided to revoke the seizure measure for five other assets, including two apartments, two vehicles, and an apartment purchased in 2022.
According to the decision, the confiscation enters into force immediately upon announcement, while the administration of the assets will be carried out by the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets under the Ministry of Interior.
The parties have the right to appeal the decision within 15 days to the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime.
