A small tourist plane crashed this Saturday while flying over the Nazca Lines, one of the most important archaeological sites in Peru, known for the ancient geoglyphs of the Nazca civilization.
According to state television TVPeru, there were 11 passengers and two pilots on board.
Police commander Jorge Andrade confirmed from the scene that all 13 people on board died.
The causes of the plane crash have not yet been announced, while authorities have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
