Three people were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion near a restaurant in central Moscow, Russian state news agency TASS reported, citing official sources.
The explosion occurred near a restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square, causing panic in the area. Immediately after the incident, the scene was surrounded by numerous Interior Ministry forces and emergency teams, who intervened to help the injured.
The Russian Ministry of Health confirmed that all the injured have been transported to hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical treatment.

Meanwhile, some Russian media outlets and bloggers are reporting that Alexander Chaiko, commander-in-chief of the Russian Space Forces, was celebrating his birthday at a luxury restaurant near the scene of the explosion. However, there has been no official confirmation of his presence or any connection to the explosion.
