A divorce is suspected to be at the origin of the gun attack that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Milot.
Sources close to the investigation team indicate that the main lead on which the investigations are focused is related to a family conflict between the suspected perpetrator and the 30-year-old who was the target of the attack. According to the same sources, it is suspected that the clash came after the 30-year-old’s divorce from the suspected perpetrator’s sister, which may have led to the escalation of the conflict.
The incident occurred at around 18:00, near the Milot Bridge. According to preliminary investigations, Gj. Gj., who was driving an “Audi” vehicle, is suspected of following the “Audi” car driven by MJ, 30 years old, resident of Rubik. During the movement, he is suspected of having fired several times with a firearm in the direction of the vehicle.
Despite the shooting, the 30-year-old was not injured. After the attack, the suspected perpetrator fled the scene and has not yet been caught.
The police continue to search for his location, while the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to fully document the event.
