Amadeo Fufi, 28 years old, the son of former DP MP Mhill Fufi, is found to be involved in the incident that occurred in Mamurras, where his friend Leonard Dema was injured.
According to the official announcement of the State Police, the authorities had previously administered data on the location of Leonard Dema, 23 years old, born in Mamurras and sentenced to 7 years in prison by the Court of Trento in Italy for attempted murder.
During the intervention of operational forces at a gas station along the Mamurras-Laç axis, the young man was in the vehicle together with Amadeo Fufi. According to the police, at the moment of the intervention, Dema attempted to ram the officers with his vehicle, endangering their lives.
At the same time, Amadeo Fufi is suspected of having pulled out and pointed a pistol firearm at the police services.
In self-defense, police officers intervened and neutralized the situation, resulting in the injury of the 23-year-old wanted man. He was transported to the Trauma Hospital and is under the care of doctors.
Meanwhile, Amadeo Fufi was arrested in flagrante delicto, while during the search the firearm he was suspected of possessing was also seized. Investigations into the incident continue.
