MP and Deputy Leader of the Democratic Party, Belind Këlliçi, reacted today regarding the data on the minimum wage in Europe, where Albania ranked last.
In a post on his social networks, Këlliçi shared the graphic with the data, where our country also stands out, while stating that the ranking contradicts the unimaginable propaganda of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The Democrat accuses Rama of increasing social inequality, deepening poverty, and turning the country into a paradise for oligarchs with his policies.
“This graph shows Albania’s ranking in terms of minimum wage and purchasing power with this income. According to Edi Rama’s propaganda, we are experiencing unimaginable great successes. According to real data, we are last in Europe.
The lowest minimum wage on the continent, while prices are higher than the EU average.
North Macedonia, Montenegro, or Serbia have made many improvements in this ranking. We are at the bottom of the list.
“With Edi Rama, social inequality and poverty have deepened. Albania has become a paradise for the oligarchs, friends and clients of the Prime Minister, while for the majority, a place where they survive, where they barely make ends meet,” Këlliçi writes.
