According to the Police, after receiving notification of the situation, a search and rescue operation was launched by the services of the Dhërmi Police Station, in cooperation with the “Delta Force” Special Unit.
The operation lasted about 4 hours and took place in difficult conditions due to the steep terrain and darkness. Rescue forces managed to locate the tourist and the two children, extracting them from the area without injuries.
After evacuation, they received first medical aid and were found to be in good health.

In conditions of very difficult terrain and in the dark, after about 4 hours of search and rescue operations, the Police services extracted the tourist and his two children without injuries.
