New details have been learned regarding the robbery of a jewelry store, recorded this Wednesday afternoon in the Paskuqan area, in Kamëz.

According to information provided, two masked and armed individuals entered the business premises at around 2:50 PM, where, at gunpoint, they forced the employees to hand over the jewelry that was in the jewelry store.

Sources indicate that the perpetrators are suspected of being armed with Kalashnikov-type firearms. At the time of the robbery, two employees were inside the jewelry store, who confronted the perpetrators, but fortunately neither of them was injured.

After taking a quantity of jewelry, the robbers quickly fled the scene using a motorcycle without license plates and lost track before the arrival of police forces.

Immediately after being notified of the incident, the Police services arrived at the scene, surrounded the area and set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits of Kamza, as well as on the surrounding road axes, with the aim of locating and capturing the perpetrators.
