The Democratic Party has prepared a guideline for the local response of this political force’s structures, to support citizens who oppose the SP’s proposal for the new territorial map.
The instruction was signed today by the Organizing Secretary of the Democratic Party, Klevis Balliu, and by the Secretary for Local Government, Ylli Asllani.
The instruction emphasizes that the objective is to support civic resistance, in order to prevent the government project to reduce the number of municipalities from being approved.
The document emphasizes that the version presented by the DP for a division into 100 municipalities is the correct one.
The instruction also emphasizes that the DP branches should urgently meet within this week, together with municipal councilors, to coordinate their position with that of the protesting citizens, as well as to support their rallies.
