After the incident with two injured people in Fier prison, the general directorate of prisons has removed two convicts from this prison.
According to Top Channel’s sources, one of them, Aldo Gjini, has been transferred to the high-security prison in Burrel, while Jurgen Zotaj has been sent from the Fier hospital to the Prison Hospital Center in Tirana.
Only Denis Brajovic or Bajri is being held in the Fier prison. Meanwhile, the Fier police, together with the prosecutor’s office, are conducting investigations to establish the causes of the fight between the two prisoners that ended with the injury of Brajovic and Zotaj.
Six prison officers who were on duty have been questioned, four of whom are expected to be suspended next week, on suspicion of neglecting security regulations.
The camera shows Jurgen Zotaj and Aldo Gjini moving from one sector to Brajovic’s sector, after the latter was informed whether or not he would be waiting for them for coffee. The three prisoners then meet each other, hug each other, and are moved to another environment where there are no cameras.
But within a few minutes of the testimony taken from Brajovic, it is stated that he was attacked with an improvised object like a cold weapon. The prisoner tells the investigating police that he grabbed Jurgen’s weapon and fought back with it.
According to him, he has no conflict and had accepted the visit for coffee in the sector because he knew and had a friend, so the guarantor is Aldo Gjini. I told the policeman, Brajovic declared, let them come while he washes his eyes and then for reasons he cannot explain after meeting with his friends, he was attacked.
