Balluk Investigations/ SPAK conducts inspections at the company “Atelier 4”, luxury villa furnishing project seized

As part of the investigation into former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, SPAK has conducted a search of the company “Atelier 4”, owned by the Eftimi brothers. Sources for journalist Klodiana Lala indicate that during the search, a furnishing project related to a luxury villa in one of the most exclusive areas of the south of the country was seized.

According to sources, this is an asset that investigators suspect may be linked to Balluk and has been put under investigation as hidden assets.

Special prosecutors are analyzing the materials seized during the search, comparing them with other evidence and data collected during the investigation.

The former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure and Energy is a defendant in the case related to the tender for the construction of the Llogara tunnel and the lots of the Tirana Outer Ring Road.

Meanwhile, an investigation into corruption and money laundering is ongoing against her. As part of this investigation, SPAK has seized a villa in Dhërmi, which is suspected of containing hidden assets.

About 10 days ago, Balluku appeared before SPAK, where she was informed of the new charges. At the same time, she was also informed of the decision to extend the investigation period by three months.
