The road tragedy that occurred this afternoon in Lushnja fatally took the lives of two women, sisters.

The car in which the two sisters were traveling lost control and, under unexpected circumstances, went off the road, ending up in a canal full of mud.
The car was driven by the late Florije Xhepa, while her sister Mirela Hasko was a passenger in the vehicle.
The two sisters were trapped in the canal water and were unable to get out alive, drowning.
Police services have arrived at the scene along with the investigation team. They are working to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of this fatal accident.
