A family conflict in the village of Majtarë in Dibra has ended with one person arrested, another wanted and three people prosecuted. After being notified of the conflict, the services of the Dibra Police Commissariat intervened in time, preventing further escalation of the situation.

The 34-year-old man with the initials DE was arrested, suspected of raping his sister-in-law, 40-year-old FE. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old’s son, 19-year-old FE, has been declared wanted. According to the Police, during the conflict he fired a gun in the air, with the aim of threatening his uncle. Controls are continuing to capture the young man and find the weapon used.

Three other people are being prosecuted at large. 40-year-old FE and 25-year-old AE are suspected of having used violence against each other, while 38-year-old EE is suspected of having attempted to hide evidence at the scene.

Immediately after being notified of a conflict in a family in the village of Majtarë, the services of the Dibër Police Commissariat organized the work and went to the scene to clarify the circumstances and involvement in the conflict.

As a result of timely intervention and police actions, further escalation of the conflict was prevented and citizen DE, 34 years old, was arrested, after allegedly raping his sister-in-law, citizen FE, 40 years old.

Meanwhile, the 40-year-old’s son, citizen FE, 19, was declared wanted, who is suspected of having fired a firearm into the air, with the aim of threatening citizen DE, his uncle. Work continues to capture him and checks to find and seize the firearm used during the conflict.

Also, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens FE, 40 years old, and AE, 25 years old, for raping each other, as well as against citizen EE, 38 years old, for allegedly attempting to hide evidence at the scene.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action.
