A fatal accident was recorded on Tuesday evening in the Misto Mames area of Tirana.
According to the police, at around 18:30, a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man, with the initials OV, hit pedestrian DP, around 55 years old.
As a result of the collision, the 55-year-old woman died.
The driver of the vehicle has been escorted to the police station, where further procedural actions are being carried out.
Meanwhile, the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
