“Principotes” a crime hotbed, how the entire staff mobilized to save the murderer; the 20-year-old was left to die in a deck chair

If the staff of “Principote” had intervened in time by calling the police or transporting the young man to the hospital, perhaps he would have been saved. But no, they left him to die, while the goal was to remove the perpetrator from the bar…

The murder of 20-year-old Portuguese Luis Miguel Varela Mendes in Ksamil is bringing to the surface another serious aspect of the event: the behavior of the “Principote” staff after the young man was hit and injured.

The investigative file shows that, in the minutes when Mendes needed urgent help, the people of Bekim Bulica’s “Principota” mobilized for Sokrat Vata, the person who is now accused of stabbing him to death.

Security cameras show that at 05:18:04 Luis Mendes emerges from the sea and walks towards the sun loungers of “Paradise” beach. His white T-shirt is bloodied. He was injured and his condition was obvious in the scene.

But what happens next is even more serious.

The evidence shows that the 20-year-old was being given first aid by his friends and tourists. One of the friends said that he used his shirt to cover the wound, while the DJ of “Principote”, Armando Zeneli, claims that when he went outside he saw a group of tourists helping a person lying on the ground.

In the same minutes, another mobilization had begun within the “Principota” staff. Not for Luis Mendes, but for Sokrat Vata.

This is what Armando Zeneli himself says in his testimony to investigators. He says that a group of panicked colleagues went to him and asked him to use his car.

But the message was clear: “Take Socrates and take him to the hospital because you have a car nearby.”

So, there was a car. There were people willing to organize. There was also the awareness that an injured person needed to be taken to the hospital immediately.

But the person for whom this organization was made was Sokrat Vata.

While Luis Mendes was injured, the staff tried to save Socrates by sending him for treatment. The DJ also informed the manager about the situation and then ran to the parking lot to get the car.

On the way to the car, Zeneli passed by the victim.

He himself says that he saw a group of tourists helping a person lying on the ground. However, he took the vehicle, turned around and got Sokrat Vata in the back. Then they headed towards the Ksamil Health Center.

This is the most serious contrast that emerges from the file: the victim was on the ground and was being helped by tourists, while the accused was provided with a car from a bar employee to take him to the hospital. Also, no one called the police even though part of the security staff was also officers. The police were called by the DJ, who went home, calmed down and then made the call. So too late.

The role of the managers of “Principota” also needs to be seen in this context. The DJ states that before taking the car he had informed the manager. So, the situation was not only known to a few random employees; according to the testimony itself, the management was made aware.

In this story, the role of the owner Bekim Bulica must also be fully clarified: what did he do that morning? Why did he run away and not immediately call the police or the ambulance to save the young man? What role did he play in hiding or manipulating the incident? /Pamphlet
