The Special Prosecution of Kosovo has filed an indictment against Fatmir Sheholli for espionage and blackmail.
Sheholli, arrested in October last year, is charged with the criminal offense of espionage because, from an unspecified date until the day of his arrest, “directly, intentionally, in the capacity of a person recruited by the Serbian Intelligence Service – (known as “BIA”), he assisted the activity of this service.”
Meanwhile, the prosecution has also revealed the statement of journalist Milaim Zeka, who was mentioned in the file, where in the conversation with Sheholli, the publication of materials on the show “Pa Rrotlla” is discussed.
Milaim Zeka’s statement to the investigator:
Question: Did you receive financial funds from Fatmir Sheholli to publish these materials?
Answer (M. Zeka): The agreement was that, always according to Fatmir Sheholli, the German GIZ allocated two thousand euros (2000 euros) for publication, of which 1000 was given to me when we met and another 1000 euros will be given to me after the publication is completed, which it has not given to me yet.
