Sali Berisha has arrived in the United States of America, on his first visit after the lifting of the ban on traveling to the US. Berisha will stay in America for several days, where he is expected to carry out a busy agenda of activities and meetings.
The leader of the Democratic Party has also published footage from his arrival in the US, where he was welcomed by Albanians in the diaspora with flowers and hugs. “Across the ocean, an Albanian welcome, a moment of gratitude,” Berisha wrote in his post.
During the visit, in addition to participating in activities, Berisha is expected to hold two meetings with the Albanian community in the United States. The first meeting is scheduled to be held in New York on September 6, while the second meeting will take place on September 8 in Texas. Berisha’s return to the United States comes after almost 14 years. The last time he traveled to the US was in 2012, when he held the post of Prime Minister of Albania.
