The Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has placed Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi under investigation.
The case against him was registered based on a criminal complaint filed in February 2024 by his former business partner, Aredin Behari.
Behari accuses the MP of money laundering and concealing assets worth 1.5 million euros.
The alleged financial activity and concealment of capital, according to the informant, occurred during the period 2010–2012.
The prosecution will now verify asset declarations, balance sheets of commercial enterprises, and bank account movements conducted during those years.
