His arrest was a major tectonic movement. He was hit after President Trump’s ceremony, as soon as he returned, he was arrested. He was taken to office. The image of the national and international media of a mayor being arrested in office had a very big impact. Veliaj also has great power, both in terms of political and economic potential, at this moment that Veliaj is in, where the municipal council and the prime minister have dismissed Veliaj, so this happened with Rama’s approval, although today the prime minister maintains a position that he did not want this to happen, but it happened. That the capital is physically without a mayor is something that is clearly visible. It is expected that Veliaj would have more serious charges.

Everyone there is fighting either to stay close to Rama at the top, or to make a hole for Rama.
