Three armed men were arrested yesterday in Lezha, suspected of preparing to commit a murder. Preliminary investigations suggest that 38-year-old Vincesk Piroli and 34-year-old Kristian Ymeri were contract killers and may be involved in other criminal activities.
Meanwhile, the target has not yet been identified, as the arrested have ‘kept their mouths shut’ to the police.
When were Vincesk Piroli, Kristian Ymeri and Elden Tarja arrested?
Vincesk Piroli and Kristian Ymeri were traveling on the old Pllanë-Lezha road, where they were supposed to carry out the execution. But their plan did not go as planned. Information received by the Lezha Police in a very discreet manner led to the prevention of the assassination attempt, and consequently their arrest.
The Blues followed them foot by foot for several days, until they were convinced to intervene at the moments when they were about to kill.
Operation “Details” was finalized on the Gjadër-Barbullush road, in the direction of Shkodra, where the police stopped the “Volkswagen” car in which the 2 suspects as executioners were traveling, Vinçesk Piroli, from Kurbini, with a significant criminal record at home and abroad, and Kristian Ymeri (Shkambi), 34 years old, from Kamza, but also a third accomplice, Elden Tarja, 25 years old, from Barbullush in Shkodra. The latter was the driver of the vehicle, who was suspected of helping them escape after they committed the murder.
