A serious incident is reported to have occurred in Italy, where the body of an Albanian citizen was found near a nightclub.
It is reported that the incident took place a few meters from the border with San Marino, in front of the “Vision Club” nightclub. The body was found by a passerby, who saw that there were wounds on his face.
The passerby noticed a patrol of the San Marino Gendarmerie, which was carrying out a return maneuver near the border. He stopped him, attracted the attention of the officers and showed them the location of the body. The gendarmes notified their Italian colleagues and the 118 emergency service.
The victim has been identified as a 34-year-old Albanian man who had recently traveled to Italy. The facial injuries are the first element that investigators are focusing on. They could have been caused by a fall, but they are not enough to explain the dynamics of the incident.
The 34-year-old may have been struck by a sudden health condition, losing consciousness and falling forward, unable to protect himself with his hands. This is, at the moment, the reconstruction of the event that is considered the most likely.
However, the carabinieri want to rule out the possibility that something else could be behind those wounds: a blow, a fight or an attack. No leads are being ruled out before the completion of the forensic examinations.
There is another question: why was the man in the Vision Club parking lot at that time of night?
Investigators are trying to reconstruct the last hours of his life, his movements and the contacts he may have had before he passed away. The proximity to the nightclub is one of the elements of context, but so far there are no confirmed links between the club’s activity and what happened.
