Sharka: Yesterday, the event where Mr. Shehaj stole the confidential document with the US was the headline of not only the local media, but also the international media. They have also classified it as unprecedented.
Kapri: There was nothing unprecedented there. It’s all a government propaganda effort to divert attention from what’s happening in the square. Agron Shehaj did his duty yesterday.
Sharka: The task of getting the document?
Kapri: The document was for the 140 deputies of the Republic.
Sharka: Yes, Niko Peleshi told you that you could go to the office and see it.
Kapri: Yes, but according to the procedure, each MP is entitled to a copy.
Sharka: The headline in a Greek media outlet reports the news that in the Albanian parliament a deputy steals a document for a secret agreement with the United States of America and also calls the situation unprecedented. So, is propaganda also in foreign media outlets?
Kapri: They got the news from the Albanian media. They don’t have correspondents or they didn’t call us to get our opinion on this issue.
Sharka: Yes, they have seen the situation and they reason that when the MP takes the document and runs away, they call it unprecedented.
Kapri: But where did the MP take the document? It was still in parliament. The point is this, it is the duty of an MP to be transparent. The opposite would be terrible. There, a document was being voted on that is confidential, but with the constitutional obligation for MPs to have it, to read it before voting.
