According to him, the decision-making was influenced by the advice of an Indian lawyer, which, according to the businessman, turned out to be a wrong choice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span dir=\"auto\">We recall that the\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span dir=\"auto\">&#8220;Durr\u00ebs Yacht &amp; Marina&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0project\u00a0, presented as one of the largest strategic investments in Albania, with a value of 3.2 billion euros, has faced serious problems during implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"jnews_inline_related_post_wrapper left\">\n<div class=\"jnews_inline_related_post\">\n<div class=\"jeg_postblock_29 jeg_postblock jeg_module_hook jeg_pagination_disable jeg_col_2o3 jnews_module_1719540_0_6a6eddc59af29   \" data-unique=\"jnews_module_1719540_0_6a6eddc59af29\">\n<div class=\"jeg_block_navigation\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"jeg_ad jeg_ad_article jnews_content_inline_2_ads  \"><\/div>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Two of the buildings constructed on the site in management areas A02 and A04, which are in the external arrangements phase, have suffered significant structural damage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"910\"><span dir=\"auto\">According to the topographic report of the Construction Institute, building 02 has suffered a decrease of 28 centimeters, while building 04 has sunk by 18 centimeters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">According to a denunciation published earlier\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/boldnews.al\/2026\/04\/24\/video-fundoset-marina-e-durresit-pallatet-e-alalabari-zhyten-74-cm\/\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\">in the media,<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0the problem began in the early stages of construction, where the deep piles necessary for a sandy and unstable terrain near the sea were not placed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">This development comes at a time when the project has been under criticism for its slow progress and financial model. Although the construction of around 1,680 apartments was promised in the first phase, only three buildings have been completed so far, while real investments remain far from the initially declared figures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">According to financial data, for the years 2023\u20132024, about 41 million euros have been spent on works, while the company itself has invested only a small portion of the capital from its own funds, relying mainly on the sale of apartments in the project phase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">However, the fundamental question still remains unanswered: who is responsible for this situation &#8211; the designers, the implementers, or the state institutions that supported the project?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Businessman Mohamed Alabbar, investor of the Durr\u00ebs Marina project, has admitted failure with the billion-euro project in Albania.
