As they have been protesting in Tirana for 27 days, the Coordination Group of the protest has also been revealed. It is reported that the latter have addressed a letter to the heads of diplomatic missions of Western countries accredited in Albania.
These are: Entela Koja, Arben Kola, Megan Balaj, Edviol Kulluri, Luçjana Kokaj, Gentjan Progni, Gjon Ndoj, Etleva Merko, Everest Bardhi, Përparim Gjeka, Mevlan Mata, Ilir Xhemalaj and Marjen Rama.
The 13 members of the protest’s Coordination Group have presented foreign diplomats with five main demands addressed to the government, which include the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
According to their document, the resignation of the prime minister and the current government, describing it as a necessary and non-negotiable step for the democratic renewal of the country.
