The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has declared the leader of the “Mundësia” Party, Agron Shehaj, innocent of the charge of defamation, following the lawsuit filed by businessman Bashkim Ulaj and the company “Gener 2” sh.pk.
The criminal case was brought to court by the plaintiffs, who accused Shehaj of the criminal offense of “Defamation”, provided for in Article 120, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
At the conclusion of the trial, the GJKKO panel, headed by Judge Atalanta Zeqiraj, ruled in favor of Agron Shehaj’s acquittal.
According to decision no. 64, dated July 31, 2026, the court found that the defamation charge was not proven during the trial.
The decision provides that the court costs will remain as determined by the court, while the parties have the right to appeal it to the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime within 15 days of receiving notice of the reasoned decision.

The declaration of innocence of the accused Agron Shehaj, in relation to the criminal offense “Defamation”, provided for by Article 120, paragraph 2, of the Criminal Code. 2. Court expenses as incurred. 3. An appeal may be filed against this decision with the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, within 15 (fifteen) days from the day after receiving notice of the reasoned decision.
