A 40-year-old man was killed after a shooting on Thursday evening in the town of Laç/
The victim has been identified as Ilir Lika, who did not survive the injuries he sustained.
Immediately after the report, police arrived at the scene, surrounded the area and began investigations to fully uncover the circumstances of the crime.
‘Around 22:10, in the city of Kurbin, a gunshot was fired at citizen I.Gj alias IL, alias IK, alias I. N, around 40 years old. He was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital, but lost his life during transportation.
Police services, immediately after receiving the notification, went to the scene and continue intensive checks in the area to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).
Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working intensively to capture any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of clarifying and legally documenting the event, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s), the police announced.
