Today, the Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime has found guilty 5 of the members of the sensational “REVANSHI” file, sending behind bars a former RENEA officer, the brother and cousin of former socialist MP Eduard Ndreca, who have benefited from the summary trial.
Media sources indicate that the GJKKO sentenced former RENEA special forces operative Adrian Pikli and Devis Bajramaj to 10 years in prison each. However, due to the summary trial, the pair were each sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison.
On the other hand, it is reported that Elvis Ndreca, the uncle’s son of former socialist MP Eduard Ndreca, as well as Edison Muceku, were each sentenced to 8 years in prison, reduced to 5 years and 4 months with a shortened trial.
Meanwhile, the brother of socialist MP Armando Ndreca was sentenced to 11 years in prison, whose sentence was reduced to 7 years and 4 months due to the shortened benefit.
As we reported at the end of May, SPAK requested 56 years in prison for the 5 defendants in this case.
Meanwhile, the defendants in the sensational case, due to the summary trial, were sentenced to a total of 31 years and 8 months in prison.
We recall that the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime conducted a mega-operation on May 17, 2024 to target several structured criminal groups, which operated in murder or drug trafficking and were distributed in some of the country’s main cities.
During this operation, 50 arrest warrants were issued, while assets worth around 4.5 million euros were seized.
