Local media write that the arrest was carried out last Thursday evening, in the Lavreotiki area, in execution of an arrest warrant issued against him.
The 56-year-old faces charges of simple complicity in sexual acts and repeatedly viewing pornographic performances of a minor who had not yet reached the age of 12.
According to the Hellenic Police, the case concerns an incident that allegedly occurred in May 2026. According to the same information, the accused was making a video call via a messaging app with the 28-year-old mother, during which he watched acts of a sexual nature and pornographic performances in which the minor participated, after being forced by her mother.
Investigations by the competent authorities continue to investigate all aspects of the case, while after his arrest, the 56-year-old was brought before the competent Prosecution Authority, in order to follow the established judicial procedures.
